We’re hiring a Construction Project Coordinator and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Construction Project Coordinator will support the Construction Project Manager(s) in job cost accounting, project management support (including budgeting, compliance, resource management, and progress monitoring), reporting and metrics, and communication.
Salary range: $55k-$70k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.
Primary Responsibilities Manage & Submit POs: Oversee the creation, approval, and submission of purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Manage & Submit Contracts: Handle the administration of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and submitting for approval. Manage & Submit COIs: Ensure that all necessary certificates of insurance are obtained, verified, and submitted in compliance with company and project requirements. Job Cost Accounting: Manage the job cost accounting process to ensure accurate and timely reporting of job costs, including tracking expenses, reconciling budgets, and updating financial records. Project Management Support: Assist with project management activities such as developing project budgets, compliance, managing resources, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets. Reporting & Metrics: Prepare and maintain job cost reports and metrics, providing regular updates and insights to the Construction Project Manager and other key stakeholders as needed. Communication: Effectively communicate job progress, issues, and updates and partner with the Executive Project Management Team to ensure transparency and alignmentacross projects. Ability to travel as needed (very little will be required) Education and Experience At least 4 years experience in the construction or engineering industry Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Project Management (PMP) or related certification, preferred Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
