Construction/Program Assistant at Parsons!

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction/Program Assistant to join our team! In this Remote role, you will be supporting the delivery of a wide variety of projects within the Navajo Nation across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

What You'll Be Doing:

​Provides administrative support to the construction management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.Assists in tracking project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely updates and reporting to stakeholders.Coordinates and processes project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and permits.Maintains organized records of construction documents, contracts, and correspondence for easy access and retrieval.Communicates with contractors, vendors, and project team members to ensure timely submission of required documentation and compliance with project requirements.Supports the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project-related materials for internal and external stakeholders.Monitors and tracks invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports to ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance.Assists in the implementation of safety and quality control procedures by maintaining records and distributing relevant information.Provides logistical support for site visits, inspections, and meetings, including travel arrangements and coordination of schedules.Acts as a liaison between the construction team and the Navajo Nation community, ensuring culturally sensitive communication and collaboration.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business (or equivalent work experience), and typically 3+ years of related work experience with administrative support, preferably in construction or project management environments.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar) is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and documentation is preferred.Experience working with Native American communities or in culturally sensitive environments is highly desirable.Ability to work collaboratively with project teams while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

What Desired Skills:

Learn and adhere to Navajo Nation regulations and policies. Experience in supporting renovation and new build projects, particularly in rural or underserved areas.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project needs.

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
