Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer III to join our team. This role primarily focuses on supporting the procurement of construction materials and services, including steel, concrete, mechanical/electrical subcontractors, and general contractor services. Candidates with a background in commercial construction, industrial facilities, or infrastructure procurement are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Coordinate NDAs and vendor onboarding.Conduct vendor outreach and pricing analysis.Manage procurement documentation and support bid leveling by organizing quotes from multiple suppliers into comparable formats.Maintain supplier databases and trackers, and coordinate with internal stakeholders on procurement timelines.Support administrative procurement tasks, including sending and receiving RFPs, gathering and analyzing pricing from suppliers, and managing procurement documentation.Essential Skills
5+ years of supply chain experience.Proficiency in vendor management and Microsoft Office.Strong procurement/sourcing experience, including RFPs, vendor management, and pricing analysis.Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple vendors and NDAs simultaneously.Advanced Excel skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with procurement/ERP tools such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, Jaggaer is a plus.Experience with Coupa.Experience in a large company environment.Exposure to robotics and stakeholder/upper management.Work Environment
The role involves administrative procurement support within the Robotics Construction supply chain, including vendor onboarding, outreach, and NDA coordination. The position will operate in an environment that offers exposure to robotics and interaction with upper management. The primary goal is to support the team for six months during the ramp-up of Factory 1.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
