Our client is a well-established international infrastructure contractor delivering major government-backed civil projects in West Africa. The company has secured long-term infrastructure works and continues to expand its regional presence.

 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join the on-site engineering team for a large-scale infrastructure project in Ghana.

This is a contractor-side execution role responsible for supervising plumbing and utility installation works and ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedule, and safety standards.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, and sewage systems Oversee firefighting piping networks and utility infrastructure Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel Review technical drawings and method statements Monitor quality control and installation progress Ensure compliance with project specifications and HSE standards Work within a FIDIC contractual framework Liaise with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams Prepare site reports and resolve technical issues

 

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or Civil Engineering Strong site-based experience in plumbing works on infrastructure, industrial, or large construction projects Experience managing subcontractors and execution teams Good understanding of multidisciplinary site coordination Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage Good English communication skills Willingness to relocate and work in a site-based international environment
