Construction Manager - Wastewater

We're looking for a Construction Manager to be based in the El Paso Area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients’ business and business practices. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on construction projects including pipelines, water plants, wastewater plants, conveyance and tunnels as well as industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for orchestrating a number of constructions related activities on civil focused projects including roads, highways, rail, and water/wastewater. You will be expected to be able to work with clients and contractors with knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, and oversight of day-to-day activities. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global and local. * Bachelor’s degree in in Construction Management, Engineering, or directly related experience in lieu of education * 4+ years of proven experience in Construction Management working on transportations or water/wastewater projects including transit tunnel projects. * Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements. Perform calculations using algebra, trigonometry and geometry. * Perform schedule review analysis * Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record * Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights. Ideally, you’ll also have: * Proven experience and knowledge with Transportation and/or water & wastewater projects * Master’s degree in construction management, or Engineering * Knowledge of Bluebeam Studio and Procore #WestPMCM Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
