Job Description We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects related to materials handling systems, including conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), racking, and other industrial infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities + Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations. + Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely execution. + Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans. Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed. + Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. + Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly. + Maintain accurate records including RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and punch lists. + Conduct inspections and ensure all work meets engineering specifications and regulatory requirements. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial, steel/concrete construction sites. + Experience with heavy industrial construction including steel structures and concrete. + Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Project. + Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. + Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Experience with schedules, cost estimates, and bid packages is preferred. + Familiarity with construction language and processes. Work Environment + The position requires on-site work with some travel to construction sites. + The work involves overseeing industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Powell, Ohio.
