Construction Manager
**Job Title: Construction Manager** **Job Description** The Construction Manager will serve as the primary liaison and owner representative for pre-construction and construction activities across multiple airport asset renewal projects. These projects focus on replacing end-of-life systems, including MEP fire and security systems, transportation systems, building enclosures, utilities, baggage systems, and passenger boarding bridges. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing large-scale airport projects, particularly with MEP systems, and can coordinate critical outages with minimal operational impact. **Responsibilities** + Develop budgets, schedules, and plans for assigned projects in collaboration with team members and airport management. + Review and approve acquisition packages, NTP letters, and supporting documentation. + Lead preconstruction meetings and weekly progress meetings. + Coordinate with design managers and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with LAWA standards. + Manage project scope, documentation, and correspondence, including BIM deliverables and meeting minutes. + Oversee shop drawing reviews, mockups, factory/site acceptance tests, and commissioning activities. + Monitor permitting processes and enforce design and construction guidelines. + Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and review change proposals for compliance. + Ensure adherence to QA/QC plans and promote excellence in project execution. + Mentor and lead project staff. **Essential Skills** + 15+ years in construction management, preferably in airport environments; projects exceeding $50M. + Professional licensure or certifications such as PMP, PE, AAAE strongly preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. + Familiarity with PMIS. + Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CAD/REVIT experience a plus. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers a chance to work on significant airport projects with a focus on innovation and excellence.
