Reports To: Project Manager
Job Summary: The Construction Manager acts as the Project Manager's lead on-site,
responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all construction and finishing activities. You will
ensure that the contractor's work complies with the project's architectural designs, technical
specifications, safety standards, and schedule. Your primary role is to monitor progress, enforce
impeccable quality standards, and coordinate all on-site activities from the client's perspective
across multiple villas and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and lead the team of client-side Foremen (Civil, Architectural, MEP, Landscape).
● Conduct daily site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and
compliance with the approved construction plan.
● Serve as the primary on-site liaison between the client team and the contractor's site
management.
● Champion and enforce a world-class Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture on
site.
● Review and provide owner's input on contractor's method statements, work plans, and
material submittals for luxury finishes.
● Manage the formal RFI (Request for Information) and submittal process with the
contractor and design consultants.
● Verify work completion and recommend approval of the contractor's monthly progress
payments.
● Identify potential construction and finishing issues, working with the contractor to
proactively find solutions that uphold quality standards.
● Maintain a detailed daily log of site activities, progress, and any issues encountered.
Qualifications & Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
● Minimum of 10-15 years of hands-on site experience on high-end residential or luxury
hotel projects.
● Previous experience with CSI format.
● Proven experience in a construction management role, representing the project owner or
a top-tier consultancy.
● In-depth knowledge of high-end construction methods, premium materials, and legal
regulations.
● Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
