Our client, is seeking a Construction Manager 5 to join their team. **Job Title:** Construction Manager 5 **Location:** **Cheyenne WY** **Pay Range:** **$66.00/hr. - $73.00/hr.** **What’s the Job?** Summary: The main function of a Construction Engineering Manager is to apply engineering theory and principles to Construction problems and create resolution. This Construction Engineering Manager will be required to understand the project construction documents and equipment vendor shop drawings to know and validate the quality and conformance of design for installed work. A typical construction engineering manager can make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints. Job Responsibilities: + Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, equipment vendor shop drawings formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards. + Read Construction Drawings and specifications, to verify that in field installations adhere to quality assurance specifications. + Aid in verifying work planning in accordance with construction drawings, construction schedules, and anticipate and mitigate potential delays due to quality design issues. + Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from Construction document standards. + Verify construction piping, utilities, mechanical equipment, plumbing and all other mechanical components installed or received at the jobsite meet the project requirements based on the construction drawings. + Support writing letters of non-conformance for items found Skills: + Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability. + Team player and detail oriented. + Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports. + Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD). Education/Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required. + 10+ years’ experience in the Construction Industry required. + Work experience of a minimum of 4-years working directly on construction projects with a portion of this experience on a construction site. + EPMS, BAS and Controls knowledge and experience + Experience as a Construction Project Manager is a plus + Working with an equipment vendor is a plus + Knowledge of Natural Gas Piping, Plumbing and Mechanical air systems/equipment. + Mechanical Engineering Education or license required Required: + BlueBeam Software experience Required. + Mechanical Engineering Education or license required Other Requirements: + Full Time Work onsite in Cheyenne WY is required + Current US Citizen Passport required. **P.S: No C2C or third Party** If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
