We are currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our Escalator team, supporting exciting projects across the UK.

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the scope, schedule, and budget of escalator installation, full replacement and modernisation projects. You will act as the primary KONE interface for customers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and project profitability.

Key accountabilities at the role:

Manage projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion at handover to customer and maintenanceResponsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting and documentationOversee site preparations and readiness, storage and logistics, and needed resources and toolsEnsure compliance with KONE installation methods and conduct thorough risk assessmentsLead and manage the team of engineers, including subcontractors, plan and ensure sufficient project resourcing and competences and team motivationMaintain proactive communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecyclePromote and enforce safety and security awareness among employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to KONE and customer safety and security policies

Skills and experience:

Proven leadership and people management skillsStrong customer and subcontractor relationship managementExcellent planning and organising skillsGood written and spoken EnglishExcellent health and safety knowledgeCSCS card, SMSTS, or SSSTS certifications are advantageous, but not mandatoryFull UK driving licencePrior experience in escalator projects is beneficial; however, candidates with backgrounds in engineering or construction are encouraged to apply
