**Job Title: Construction Laborer/ Installer 24-28**
**Job Description**
Join our team in constructing shaded structures for commercial buildings. This role involves overseeing the installation of structural components and ensuring the successful completion of projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Construct shaded structures for commercial buildings.
+ Excavate materials and prepare site.
+ Set and secure columns.
+ Pour concrete into 36" round and 10-foot deep footings.
+ Place steel structures and custom components over a period of 2-3 weeks.
+ Install ladders and use leveling tools.
+ Perform occasional electrical work if shades include lighting.
+ Lead and manage a team of one or two laborers.
+ Read and interpret construction drawings.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in carpentry and concrete/steel work.
+ Leadership experience in managing laborers.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Ability to track invoices/receipts and complete expense reports.
+ Familiarity with using smartphones and basic computer skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1+ year of experience in outdoor construction for laborer positions.
+ Experience in using structural steel, carpentry, and concrete.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to use email for professional communication.

**Work Environment**
Work within a close-knit team of three, meeting at the garage at 5:30 am before heading to job sites. Expect 10-12 hour workdays from Monday to Thursday, with rotating Fridays for overtime. Travel outside Phoenix is possible, but transportation is provided in a company vehicle. Begin your shift by reporting to the shop.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
