**Job Title: Water Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Water Technician, you will play a crucial role in water extraction and restoration projects. This position requires travel to client sites alongside a team member and involves a variety of tasks associated with construction labor, including demolition, cleanup, and water extraction. You will be responsible for using a water moisture meter and entering job information into computers. While on-call duties are part of the role, they occur in a 4-week cycle, except during major disasters when everyone is required to be on call.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform water pumping and extraction.
+ Conduct mold remediation.
+ Move and reset contents as necessary.
+ Set up drying equipment.
+ Participate in vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
+ Maintain vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition.
+ Construct polyethylene enclosures.
+ Remove and dispose of debris.
+ Maintain equipment.
+ Attend company-sponsored operations and safety training courses.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in general labor, construction, remediation, or restoration.
+ Customer-facing experience.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Computer literacy, especially for documentation purposes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ IICRC Certification is a plus.
+ Completion of the OSHA Construction 10-hour course or ability to obtain one.
+ Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and positive attitude.
+ Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.
+ Familiarity with chemical products and Material Safety Data Sheets.
+ Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record for potential permanent employment.

**Work Environment**
The Water Technician will operate out of the DE office and travel to various project sites. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm, with flexibility required due to the 24/7 nature of emergency services. The position includes a 2-week on-call period within a 4-week rotation. A company uniform will be provided.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
