Job Description
We are seeking experienced construction laborers with over two years of experience in road, site, civil, and utility construction projects. Candidates must be willing to travel within central and Eastern New York and be open to working overtime. Ideal candidates have experience working on large construction projects and demonstrate excellent safety practices.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with excavation, trenching, and site preparation for utility installations.Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.Operate basic hand and power tools safely.Support pipefitters, electricians, and heavy equipment operators as needed.Perform backfilling, compacting, and grading to restore work areas.Install and maintain temporary structures, such as barricades and safety signage.Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free work environment.Assist in final site cleanup and preparation for inspections.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a construction laborer in road, site, civil, and utility projects.OSHA 10 Certification.Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques.Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction or utility work is preferred.Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, snow, cold, heat, and wind. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with frequent overtime and occasional Saturday work. The crew size ranges from 1-10, and you will report to a foreman or project superintendent. The work is physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting and the ability to navigate uneven terrain.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
