**Job Title: Construction Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated laborers for our Cedar Rapids location, focusing on pre-engineered metal buildings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in erecting metal posts and studs, attaching sheet metal, and insulating and drywalling interiors. This position offers the opportunity to assist experienced tradespeople, handle materials and tools, and operate lifts, contributing to exciting new build-outs near the airport. **Responsibilities** + Erect metal posts and studs. + Attach sheet metal using a power drill. + Insulate and drywall interior spaces. + Assist tradespeople with materials and tools. + Operate lifts to reach elevated work areas. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of construction experience. + Valid Driver's License. + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. + Comfortable working from a lift at heights of 20ft+. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with power tools and hand tools. + Experience in general construction and carpentry. + Mechanical aptitude. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for pay increases based on performance. Regular hours are from 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional longer days and a couple of Saturdays a month. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt or sweatshirt, and leather work boots. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
