Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is currently seeking a **Construction Intern** for our New York, NY office. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks. + Performs entry level work under close supervision of experienced staff members. + Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff, seeking clarification when needed. + Meets required schedules while producing quality work, demonstrating attention to detail and time management skills. + Will report to Pre-Construction Services Group within Program Project Management (PPM) business line. + Assists in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates. + Participates in site visits and field observations to gain practical experience in construction processes. + Supports project teams in various administrative tasks, such as document control and meeting minutes. + Learns and applies safety protocols and regulations relevant to construction sites. + Collaborates with team members on research tasks related to construction materials, methods, and technologies. + Assists in the coordination of subcontractors and vendors under the guidance of project managers. + Develops proficiency in using construction management software and tools. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Must have completed a minimum of two years of study **Preferred Qualifications:** + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Good communication skills **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation is not available for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
