Job Description The Construction Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting civil construction for the City’s Reimagine Palafox project! Skills and Requirements • Civil construction knowledge and experience • Experience in public project engineering such as street or sewer construction • Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, practices, and techniques used in construction • Ability to read and interpret routine engineering designs and specifications • Skilled in the application of proper inspection and investigation methods and techniques • Ability to pass a drug and background check • Ability to work overtime when needed
