We are looking for a skilled and dependable Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of flooring materials and installation techniques. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and install flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl plank (LVP), hardwood, tile, laminate, and other specialty surfaces. Remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, patching, or sanding. Follow work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications to ensure accurate installations. Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and effectively. Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, and team members regarding project timelines and expectations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of old flooring and debris. Adhere to company safety protocols and industry best practices. Provide excellent customer service and professionally represent the company at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a flooring installer or in a related construction trade preferred. Knowledge of flooring types, adhesives, and installation techniques. Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work on hands and knees for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and quality. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills Experience with moisture testing, underlayment, and floor preparation. Familiarity with commercial and residential installation projects. Certification or training in flooring installation (IICRC, CFI, NWFA, or similar) a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience). Overtime opportunities. Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
