Job Description:

Parsons are looking for an amazingly talented Construction Engineer (ICT)(Saudi National) to join our team on King Salman International Airport (KSIA)! 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Installation and Field Supervision:

Support the installation and construction oversight of ICT systems including structured cabling, fiber optics, network cabinets, server rooms, and backbone infrastructure.

Monitor daily construction activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Perform field inspections to verify quality and compliance of ICT installations by contractors and vendors.

Technical Coordination and Support:

Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for ICT scope.

Coordinate with design engineers, MEP teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and ensure proper system integration.

Track work progress and support issue resolution during construction and testing phases.

Testing and Documentation:

Participate in the preparation of test procedures and inspection checklists.

Support pre-commissioning and testing of ICT systems including cable continuity, bandwidth testing, and hardware verification.

Maintain accurate documentation of installed systems, site observations, and punch list items.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure that all ICT construction activities are performed in compliance with project HSE plans and safety procedures.

Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from design.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in ICT construction or field engineering.

Exposure to structured cabling, telecom, or low current systems in infrastructure or building projects.

Skills & Knowledge:

Familiarity with ICT codes, standards, and installation practices (TIA/EIA, BICSI, etc.).

Ability to read and understand ICT schematics, layout drawings, and network diagrams.

Basic proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD or similar tools.

Good communication and team coordination skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

Exposure to ICT systems in airport, data center, or large-scale infrastructure environments.

Familiarity with integration of ICT systems with SCADA, BMS, and security systems.

Understanding of testing procedures using tools such as OTDR, cable testers, etc.

Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
