We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Cost Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting retail construction projects across the enterprise. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity and cost efficiency throughout the lifecycle of our construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts and the ability to audit and align them with project goals. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in construction cost engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in forecasting and budget management for large-scale construction projects.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining project budgets, including managing GMP contract formats and performing contract audits.
• Strong background in cost control, including tracking scope changes and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Ability to produce accurate and timely financial reports, including expenditure forecasts and budget status updates.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Solid technical knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and financial systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data to stakeholders clearly. • Experience working within a Fortune 500 company or large-scale retail construction environment.
• Familiarity with construction management software and financial reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification in Cost Engineering (CCE) or similar professional designation.
