Compensation: $35-40/hour DOELocation: Quintana, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+, contract to permanent hireWork Schedule: M-F / 10+ hours per day Responsibilities Ensure everyone goes home safely every day. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulationsParticipates in the supporting the overall construction quality assurance execution philosophy, strategy and objectives for Mechanical system installationsAssists the contractors with input to identify key success factors and implement improving productivity and qualitySupport Client to help ensure that the mechanical, structural, civil and piping portions of projects will be furnished and installed on scheduleAbility to climb stairs and wear a safety harness when using scaffoldsWillingness to work a 60-hour per week schedule as requiredCommitted to ensure that everyone goes home safely each dayWorks with the Client Construction team as well as Construction contractors and their respective construction supervisors to achieve the followingProvide a safe workplace by ensuring implementation of the onsite requirements of the Construction Health, Safety, Security and Environmental PlanParticipates in site inductions, tool box meetings and other safety meetings as requestedWorks proactivity with the contractor on hazard recognition and unsafe work practicesWork with construction contractor’s foremen and superintendents to improve safety, productivity and schedule and scope of work issuesMaintain close contact with the Client construction manager, discipline superintendent during the construction and pre commissioning phases of the project in order to ensure an adequate flow of information regarding activities, material deliveries, and man-power utilization to the construction sites to meet established schedule, cost and productivity objectivesParticipate in reviews of construction schedules, staffing plans and milestones and monitor project progress against the established Master Project ScheduleMonitors daily progress and coordinates record keeping of quantities installedMaintains close liaison with other discipline supervision to ensure effective coordination of work activities Qualifications High commitment to safety, the environment and cultural issuesSolid communication, organization, analytical and problem solving skillsMethodical approach to coordinating daily expenditures, man-power tracking, and equipment and material usage activitiesWorks effectively in a team environmentMicrosoft Tools EfficiencyElectronic Document Management SystemsPayroll Systems
