Construction Coordinator - Oil and Gas Operator- WA

This is an asset-integrated team responsible for delivering brownfields construction activities across multiple onshore facilities. The team manages large contract workforces from various organisations and maintains a strong focus on safe, high-quality, and efficient execution. 
About the Role:
 
This position provides coordination, HSE oversight, and assurance of quality, cost, and schedule for work performed by external parties supporting onshore execution activities.
 
The Construction Coordinator role is discipline-focused, with opportunities in Mechanical (SMP), Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation, and External Corrosion (Fabric Maintenance). 
Duties & Responsibilities: Lead field safety activities including pre-starts, audits, and HAZID reviews, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated. Ensure compliance with Management of Change processes and contribute to constructability reviews. Oversee construction delivery, coordinating with maintenance and operations through commissioning to final acceptance. Support and audit EP & IC contractors for safety, compliance, and performance against schedule, budget, and quality. Manage financial approvals (SARs, DOA, SAP) and validate reporting to align with governance and field status. Mentor team members and engage them in early project phases to build capability and strengthen contractor management. Promote diversity and inclusion, role modelling Woodside’s values and providing leadership coverage to maintain project momentum. Skills & Experience:

  Required: Trade Certificate and/or Higher Education and/or Professional Qualification Preferred: Project Management
  Skills & Experience
  Skilled in project systems and processes including Orbit, IMConnect, JIRA (MoC, RFIs, Site Instructions, Scope Changes), and SAP CMMS Skilled in completions and commissioning processes Knowledge-level competence in SAP CMMS Skilled in maintenance/project management processes (HSEQ, planning, costing, materials, risk, contracting, resourcing) Skilled in facility equipment functionality, systems, and design Strong leadership and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams Effective organiser with strong prioritisation and decision-making skills Proven experience in contractor management, communication, and relationship building Over 10 years’ experience with a strong site execution focus
