Airswift is on a task to find a Construction Coordinator to support one of our chemical clients on a 1-year+ contract in Pasadena, TX.   General Role Responsibilities Construction lead for night/weekend and sick/vacation coverage for Construction Supervisor. Lead projects construction activities during TPO situations.  Provide construction support in early project phases. Assist in constructability review with Project Engineers. Provide construction assistance and support Construct Supervisor decision-making in field. Assist Construction Supervisor and Project Engineer(s) with the preparation of construction scope of work and execution plans.  Day to Day Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   Attending daily safety meeting Coordinating and escorting vendors to/from the job sit Performing housekeeping at the job site and capital yard Maintaining the capital yard Emptying trash cans Small repairs on tent Maintaining and Organizing Conex.  Supervervision of 3rd party contractors Coordinating work permits Transport equipment, tools, and materials to the work site Load and unload materials and equipment Operate and control construction equipment and machinery. Extend a boom forklift. Maintain department vehicles forklifts, golf carts, etc. Refueling JLG manlift Coordinate with vendors to arrange movement and cleaning of porta-cans, dumpsters, etc.  Inspection Washing Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in construction preferred. Valid extend a boom and JLG certification. Familiar with common manual and power tools and equipment Flexible schedule Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding, etc.  Basic computer skills. Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus.    Experience with a plant working environment to support general plant needs and small capital projects.  Must be able to develop strong relationships with plant personnel, managers, engineering, maintenance, and construction personnel.
