Construction Control Technician
Job Description 1. First 6 weeks will be either remote or in Livermore office completing student training program 2. Main job sites they will be reporting to: VA Hospital in Martinez, Stanford Healthcare, & Kaiser Permanente Facilities 3. Performs assigned system commissioning using client configuration and commissioning tools. 4. Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems. 5. Responds to basic warranty calls. 6. Loads system-level controller software. 7. Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc) and completes all required commissioning documentation. 8. Keeps management or customer informed of job progress and issues. 9. Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment. 10. Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. 11. Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation. 12. Communicates with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. 13. Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. Skills and Requirements 1. 1-5+ years of building automation experience within a commercial construction environment (Ideally in hospitals, high rises, healthcare facilities) 2. Familiarity with HVAC/low voltage/fire security systems (Either on install or service side) 3. Non-Union Background 4. Able to use hand and power tools (i.e. drills, saws, etc.) 5. Up to date driver's license & reliable transportation (This individual will be using own vehicle to drive to job sites from Livermore, CA all the way down to Salinas, CA) 6. Ability to pass drug/background test 1. Experience using Metasys or OSHPD software tools 2.
