Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is seeking a **Construction Contract Administration Manager** to be based in our Roanoke, VA office. The **Construction Contract Administration Manager** will supervise the Roanoke Construction Administration Department consisting of Construction Project Managers, Cost Estimators, and other personnel. The manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: * Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies. * Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization. * Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends. * Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. * May have budget responsibilities. Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization. * Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction. * Establish department standards and procedures while facilitating training to the local office. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + **Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education** + **Due to the nature of the role, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position** + **A valid Driver’s License is required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices and as a condition of employment, the selected candidate must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review** **Preferred Qualifications:** + Ten (10) years of applicable experience ideally on projects involving federal clients including military branches + **Due to the nature of the role, ability to obtain a DOD security clearance as a condition of ongoing employment** + Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other team members and disciplines, clients and contractors + Experienced using Outlook and Microsoft Office + Experienced using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software + Experienced using Contract Manager or similar construction management software + Strong organizational and management skills + Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills + Exceptional knowledge of construction ways, means, methods, and sequences + Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills + Responsive to changing demands Strong leadership skills + Good team-building skills + Employs flexibility of method **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
