Position Overview

The Construction Clerk position is responsible for supporting the Contract Administrative Staff, Area & Assistant Area Managers & Project Management Team.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of Pennsy Supply, Inc. Prepare daily construction schedule Collaborate with Assistant Area Managers to set targets in B2W Conduct daily cadence call with supporting departments Manage field employee’s vacation schedule Process safety boot reimbursements Assist Area Manager with Droptime scheduling program Prepare & distribute Paver Tracker reports Coordinate training events Prepare subcontract agreements & manage required paperwork Process job billings in Viewpoint & use the required billing documents Process change orders in Viewpoint Process subledger payments and obtain necessary lien waivers Cross train on job setups in Viewpoint Assist with vendor compliance for construction vendors Prepare check requests as needed & submit for approval Copy & Scan documents as required for SOX Process credit card transactions Prepare Safety Toolbox Talks & JSA’s, distribute weekly & track Other duties as assigned

 

Education/Experience

High school Diploma or GED equivalent. 3+ years of experience. Excellent computer skills and proficient in word, excel, outlook, etc. Must be detail oriented. Excellent communication skills

 

 Requirements

Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times. Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.  Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. Safety Manual. Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned.
