Construction Accountant - Laurel, MD

Beacon Hill Finanical has partnered with a client in Laurel, MD looking for a Construction Accountant to join their team. This position is responsible for managing job cost accounting, tracking project budgets and expenses, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for construction projects, including subcontractor billing, change orders, and compliance with contract terms. As well as experience with Sage 300 being highly preferred. This position offers a hyrbid work environment requiring 2-3 days in office. Key Responsibilities

Track and manage job costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses, to ensure alignment with project budgetsPrepare and analyze financial reports for active construction projects, highlighting variances and cost trendsProcess and review subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and payment applications in accordance with contract termsManage billing cycles, including progress billing, retainage tracking, and change order accountingReconcile general ledger accounts related to construction activities and assist with month-end closeCollaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and timely reporting F10974577 - HH_1754053362 To Apply for this Job Click Here
