Consignment Inventory Review Coordinator

Job Purpose


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Consignment Inventory Review Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing periodic physical inventory counts, managing inventory records, and ensuring accurate labeling and storage. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to resolve any inventory issues at customer locations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

The Role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Schedule consignment reviews with the customer team and conduct systematic physical counts of inventory to verify accuracy and integrity at customer locations.

Create accurate labels for inventory and ensure these labels are properly installed and aligned within inventory storage locations.

Ensure accurate bin location assignments and regular maintenance to optimize warehouse organization and inventory management.

Plan, install, and maintain a systematic rack organization to enhance accessibility, streamline inventory retrieval, and ensure efficient warehouse operations

Accurately maintain inventory records through routine updates, additions, changes, and deletions.

Oversee inventory transfers and ensure accurate and timely billing documentation.

Conduct regular checks of inventory to ensure accurate tracking, identify discrepancies, and maintain correct balances.

Address and resolve any issues related to invoices and order processing to avoid delays or disruptions.

Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of inventory processes and changes.

Ensure systems and processes are updated regularly, manage consignment performance, and resolve inventory discrepancies collaboratively.

Frequent partnership with internal cross-functional teams and the external customer team.

Assist with auditing drivers and the process they take to scan and replenish consignments.

Help coach and implement process improvements.

Ensure the highest level of communication across all levels of seniority, cross-functionally, and with customers to foster collaboration and transparency.

Required Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and additional post-secondary training or education.

Any combination of two or more years in inventory coordinator, warehouse management, supply analyst, and procurement specialist in a position with increasing responsibility, to include demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience.

Knowledge of gas utility products.

Preferred Experience

Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.

Proficiency in managing inventory systems and software, including tracking, recording, and reconciling inventory data.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

Excellent attention to detail and with a high level of accuracy in managing inventory records and conducting physical counts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and resolving issues, and problem-solving.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Ability to think critically and analyze data to make informed decisions.

Flexibility to adapt to changing inventory needs and processes.

Ability to address and resolve customer and supplier inquiries and issues effectively.

Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including supply chain specialists and warehouse staff.

Schedule multiple consignment reviews well in advance to proactively identify issues and swiftly implement necessary changes.

Working Conditions

Frequent driving/traveling up to 75%

Able to sit/stand for long periods of time.

Able to interact with others frequently.

Physical activity/exertion is routine.

Able to lift 25-50 pounds overhead.

May be exposed to loud noises.

Operate heavy machinery/tools (as required).

Able to work overtime and weekends.

Able to work in the elements, such as in extreme temperatures (hot/cold).

Work is performed in environments where exposure to dust and airborne particles is common.
