The Arts & Enterprise Conservatory and the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts are looking to fill the following teaching position: Global Management - This course provides an introduction to management theory and practice. The Leadership Challenge: Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership developed by Kouzes & Posner will form the core of the educational model; a curated reading and activity list drawing from other highly practical and respected management models (John Maxwell and Sun Tzu among others) will give students a well-rounded field of view so they may better define, adopt and experiment with those management principles. Group interactions, project-based learning elements, self-directed research, and a final project will complement the learning objectives, grounding the reading and management theories in practical applications of what will have been acquired and mastered. This class will meet on Mondays and Tuesdays (Fall only): Block 8 (2:15 pm - 3:25 pm) & Block 9 (3:35 pm - 4:45 pm)
