Configuration Manager

RiverTech LLC. will provide IT support for the Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) Working Dog Management System (WDMS), in the cloud, and will maintain and sustain both WDMS main system and WDMS software sustainment lab. This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from JBSA Lackland, Texas.  


Responsibilities

Systematically manages, organizes, and controls the changes in WDMS documents, code, and other entities during the Software Development LifeCycle.  The CM shall comply with AFSFC Configuration Management policy and SEP for maintaining and tracking application software version control.The CM shall document all software change requests to provide a clear audit trail of allrequired software modifications because of sustainment efforts. The CM shall put into place a Configuration Management Plan that must be approved by the Program Manager Office (PMO) and written in accordance with SEP.The CM shall schedule software releases to support the AF/A4S WDMS PMO, WDMS POCs, andAFSFC PMO at intervals determined during the development of a requirements timeline, whereas not to hinder current development state and required releases to field users. The CM shall provide updates to all supporting documentation (to include design documents, sequence diagrams, and relevant files) in accordance with SEP.The CM shall provide a full baseline to the Government corresponding to at least each WDMS release.
Qualifications

BA/BS in Information Technology field and 4 years of relevant experience (without BA/BS substitute 4 years relevant experience).Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) for Operating Systems and Applications.DOD 8140 DCWF Work Role Code 621, with a minimum certification of Security Plus.Familiarity of GitLab and BASH.Familiarity of DevOPS.Familiarity of Azure.Detail-oriented and possesses the ability to handle multiple tasks.Ability to provide incident and after action reports and analysis.
