Configuration Manager
Description + Lead execution of engineering change notices, ensuring all implementation activities are completed per checklist requirements, including validation of updates to Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs. + Design and deploy automation solutions to accelerate and enhance configuration management processes, improving accuracy and operational efficiency. + Prepare and submit engineering change requests, synthesizing impact analyses and coordinating documentation for cross-functional review. + Oversee the full lifecycle of change requests—routing, review, approval, and execution—ensuring timely and compliant processing. + Maintain engineering routings, cost structures, and sourcing data; conduct regular audits of as-built records to ensure product definition accuracy within Arena PLM. + Evaluate product baselines for alignment with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. + Deliver actionable insights into change process performance, including cost-of-change metrics and rework cycle tracking. + Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, and Supply Chain teams to assess change impacts, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies. + Support configuration audits and reviews (FCA/PCA), providing guidance throughout pre-audit preparation, execution, and post-audit resolution. + Advise engineering teams on BOM structuring across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service domains, including 150% BOM configurations. + Champion continuous improvement initiatives for change management workflows, tools, and documentation standards. + Develop and deliver training programs to ensure engineering teams understand and adhere to change management protocols and system usage. Experience Level 3+ years of experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $91.00/hr.
