​We are in search of a Configuration Manager to join our Air Force Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) program.  As an Configuration Manager, you will have overall responsibility for configuration and change management for multiple BIM Space Force Bases. The Configuration Manager will support base operations teams, Customer counterparts, as well as the deployment teams throughout the BIM modernization efforts at each base.

​Qualified candidates will have a strong technical background sufficient to understand the Government's requirements, and work closely with the Government and Leidos leadership to facilitate effective planning and accomplishment of mission objectives in a timely manner.  

​ 

​In addition to developing solutions, you will help the Government customer understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical capabilities, features and transformation strategies and engage in proof of concepts. 

​ ​

​Primary Responsibilities Include: 

​Oversee the configuration management processes, documentation, and change controls essential to ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of vital government operations. 

​Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures to ensure system consistency and compliance. 

​Establish and maintain a version control system to track configuration changes and ensure rollback capabilities when needed. 

​Serve as the Configuration Review Board (CRB) coordinator, creating agendas, documenting outcomes, and tracking change activity 

​Maintain up-to-date architectural drawings, hardware/software inventories, and rack elevations. 

​Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of configuration settings, baselines, and system components. 

​Manage the site’s media and documentation library, overseeing tracking, storage, and distribution 

​Support users in submitting change requests and problem reports 

​Assist in broader planning and support activities, including the modernization effort, base Authority to Operate (ATOs), and technical standards compliance. 

​Facilitate initial and recurring training for staff on configuration procedures and tools. 

​Collaborate with government and Leidos teams to track change requests to completion. 

​ 

​Required Experience:  

​Bachelors Degree in a technical field and at least 2 years of prior experience supporting configuration management for complex systems or Masters Degree with some experience. 

​Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree 

​Expertise with configuration management tools such as ServiceNow or similar systems. 

​Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills 

​Must have an active Secret security clearance and be a US Citizen. 

​Must possess or be willing to obtain one of the following certifications within 60 days: 

​Security+ 

​SSCP 

​Preferred Experience: 

​Demonstrated experience with an Air Force Customer, and/or prior military experience 

​Prior technical roles within similar organizations with growing duties and responsibilities 

​ 

​Clearance Required: 

​Must be a US Citizen and have at a minimum a Secret clearance

​​

Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
