Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer to join one of our large based DOD clients onsite within the St. Louis, MO area. This person will be spend each day managing and prioritizing incoming requests, primarily through email, by assessing each situation and determining the correct CM process path to follow. They will guide engineers and stakeholders through workflows such as design changes, ensuring requests are properly evaluated, documented, and ushered through established CM procedures. Around half of the day will be spent in meetings, including change control boards and coordination sessions across specialized engineering disciplines. The engineer will regularly review the work products of others, as CM is heavily focused on verifying accuracy, completeness, and alignment with standards like EIA‑649. They will also work to improve existing CM processes, maintain movement across multiple concurrent requests, and help keep the broader PLM organization, spanning data management, release management, IUID, and export controls, operating smoothly and efficiently.
