The Opportunity: We are seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Management Drafter to support our organization's configuration management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation related to system configurations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities:
Create and update configuration management documentation, including diagrams, schematics, and technical drawingsAssist in maintaining the configuration management database (CMDB)Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to gather and document configuration informationEnsure all documentation adheres to company standards and regulatory requirementsParticipate in configuration audits and help identify discrepanciesAssist in version control of documentation and configuration itemsSupport change management processes by documenting configuration changesHelp maintain and organize configuration management libraries and archivesContribute to the development of configuration management procedures and templatesQualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in technical Drafting, Computer-Aided Design, or equivalent work experience5+ years of related work experienceTS/SCI w/ poly is requiredProficiency in CAD software and technical drawing toolsFamiliarity with configuration management principles and practicesBasic understanding of IT infrastructure and systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and interpret technical specifications and requirementsExperience with document management systemsBasic knowledge of version control conceptsDesired:
ITIL certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:
