About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-driven, systems-minded Configuration & Data Control Manager to lead the integrity, traceability, and compliance of our engineering data across autonomous maritime platforms. This role blends traditional configuration management with CAD administration and government standards expertise—ensuring our products meet the highest thresholds of auditability, reliability, and mission readiness.

 

Key Responsibilities

Oversee configuration control processes across engineering, manufacturing, and software systemsAdminister CAD environments (SolidWorks, NX), ensuring version control, template standardization, and integration with PLM systemsMaintain and enforce compliance with MIL standards, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-HDBK-61, and EIA/ANSI CM frameworksPrepare and support internal and external audits, including FCA/PCA, with full documentation and traceabilityManage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product baselines across Arena or TeamcenterConduct impact analyses and coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and downstream implications of proposed changesDevelop and maintain CM documentation, workflows, and training materials for engineering teamsDrive continuous improvement through automation, data integrity checks, and process refinement

Qualifications

3+ years in configuration/data control within aerospace, defense, or high-compliance engineering environmentsStrong working knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-HDBK-61, and EIA/ANSI CM standardsExperience administering CAD tools and managing CAD data across PLM systemsFamiliarity with Arena, Teamcenter, or equivalent PLM platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SQL, Python, or API-based automation is a plusCM2 certification or equivalent preferredExceptional attention to detail, documentation rigor, and cross-functional communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $91.00/hr.
