Job Description
As a Configuration Management Coordinator, you will support the in-service program for Canada’s fleet of helicopters used in search and rescue and aerial reconnaissance missions. You will serve as the on-site configuration management liaison to operations under the Department of National Defence’s Technical Airworthiness Program.
Responsibilities
Conduct various configuration management activities within processes such as Aircraft Modification Approvals, Special Inspections, Aircraft Inspection Change Program, Corrective Maintenance Program Change, Airworthiness and Aviation Safety Documents, Alternate Part Approvals, Engineering Disposition, and Flight Permits.Maintain the Configuration Status Accounting tracking systems in accordance with the Engineering Process Manual directives.Coordinate and track platform-specific items such as Unsatisfactory Condition Reports, National Defense Identifications, and Equipment Registration Numbers.Maintain the platform's Configuration Management Plan to ensure it is current and accurate.Support preparation, planning, coordination, and agendas for Joint Product Change Board meetings.Schedule, prepare agendas, and track action items for the Configuration Management Working Group.Liaise with authorities to obtain maintenance record information from various databases for accurate status and maintenance research.Assist in the preparation for, and conduct of, configuration reviews and audits.Perform liaison duties related to coordination and control of Change Requests and Change Orders.Support the ATO supervisor as an on-site advisor and coordinator, assisting in developing solutions and providing oversight of execution and reporting progress.Assist with airworthiness monitoring and reporting.Requirements
1) Exposure to DND airworthiness-related processes, such as: Aircraft Modification Approvals, Special Inspections (SI), Aircraft Inspection Change Program (AICP), Corrective Maintenance Program Change (CMPC), Airworthiness and Aviation Safety Documents (AASD), Alternate Part Approvals, Engineering Disposition, Deviation, Flight Permit
2) Experience supporting aviation/aircraft projects
3) Computer savvy (must be able to use MS office proficiently and navigate databases SW)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
