The role involves mixed shifts, including earlies, backshifts, and night shifts. Please note that night shifts are paid at a higher rate.

What will I be doing?

Set up meeting and event roomsKnowledge of menu content, menu changes, and promotional activitiesEnsure the Conference and Banqueting areas are kept clean and tidyEnsure Refreshment breaks are served at the correct timesWelcome guests in a polite and friendly mannerFollow cash handling procedures, if required

 

What are we looking for?

Positive attitudeGood communication skillsCommitted to delivering high levels of customer serviceExcellent grooming standardsFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situationsAbility to work on your own or in teams

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Conference and Banquet department and/or industry experiencePrevious experience of silver serviceKnowledge of Food Hygiene RegulationsExperience in a busy Conference and Events venue
