Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a concrete laborer/cutter, where you will play a crucial role in various construction projects. We welcome applicants with previous construction experience or any physically demanding roles, although specific concrete cutting experience is not necessary.

ResponsibilitiesOperate, or be willing to learn to operate wall saws, core drills, hand saws, flat saws, and heavy equipment.Participate in full building demolitions and renovations.Be prepared to work in environments with dust, debris, and wet conditions, and perform heavy lifting.Maintain and operate equipment safely, with mechanical experience being a plus.Comply with all safety policies and procedures.Contribute to maintaining a positive, drug-free work environment.Manage workflow to meet changing priorities and complete necessary paperwork and vehicle inspection reports.Attend a full day of orientation and safety training on the first day, with PPE provided.Engage in a 700-hour contract to hire period.Essential SkillsGeneral labor and construction skills.Ability to operate hand tools, saws, and drills.Experience in concrete finishing and construction.Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA certifications are beneficial but not required.Experience in farm work, military, construction, or demolition is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work involves traveling across the Treasure Valley to various job sites, requiring comfort with working outdoors in various weather conditions. The role is physically demanding and requires a readiness to get dirty. The typical work shift starts at 6:45 am and continues until the job is complete, often finishing around 4:30 pm, but sometimes extending longer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
