Principal Duties/Responsibilities
Assist Concrete Forming Account Managers in the development of UFP’s formwork business in their region/division.Provides direction to Concrete Forming Account Managers on the specific concrete forming systems and/or materials that are appropriate for each contractor.Actively works with Concrete Formwork Design Specialists to develop drawings and prints that meet customer requirements and cut lists to assist the plants’ production departments.Assists Account Managers with the costing of concrete forming system.Supervises formwork manufacturing process at the plant through successful delivery to contractor.Leads plant production team to develop efficiency standards for concrete formwork assembly.Provides field support to ensure proper use of formwork on jobsites.Communicate regularly, consistently and effectively with Formwork Manager, UFP Plant Management, Designers & Engineering on workload, schedule, problems, challenges & solutions.Must have a complete understanding of the construction documentation process; including understanding specifications, RFI’s, RFQ’s, tracking changes, Change Orders, and scheduling.Must have a working knowledge of Contract law & administration.Works with plant management to invest in the necessary equipment and/or materials needed to establish a full-time formwork division at each plant as necessary and oversee its efficiency, productivity and profitability once operational.Assists in forecasting inventory requirements for concrete forming with necessary plant personnelMonitors output, cuts/yields, and scrap to ensure efficient resource utilization and initiates corrective action as required within area of responsibility.Prepares various reports as required.Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
Knowledge
Minimum 5 years of experience of formwork and reading formwork drawings.Working knowledge of manufacturing operationsDemonstrate comprehensive understanding of concrete forming systems from multiple suppliersWorking knowledge of lumber math and business mathProficiency in the use of MS Excel/spreadsheets is requiredProficiency in the use of MS PowerPoint & Word is requiredPreferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization and product lines

Compensation & Benefit Information:
Salary Range: $80,000-100,000 annually
