**Job Title: Concrete laborer** **Job Description** As a Concrete Foreman, you will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete for floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, and curbs. You will ensure that the forms holding the concrete are properly constructed and set the forms to the desired pitch and depth, aligning them correctly. **Responsibilities** + Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, including floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, and curbs. + Check and ensure forms holding the concrete are properly constructed. + Set forms to the desired pitch and depth, and align them accurately. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in concrete finishing with at least 5 years of experience. + Experience in form carpentry and form setting. + Strong skills in using concrete finishing tools such as bull floats and trowel machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in edging and construction. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values expertise and offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects. Employees will meet at the shop in Wichita, KS, before heading to job sites. Work hours typically range from 7 AM to 5 PM, with a standard workweek of 40-50 hours, subject to weather conditions. Flexibility in hours is required, with the possibility of working four 10-hour days or five 10-hour days. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
