Job Description:

*** The Concrete Finisher must be willing to go to Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands on a Long-Term Assignment Agreement. This position is not a remote opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing:

Placing forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch is achievedMonitoring the effect heat, wind, and cold have on curing concrete to ensure high-quality resultsRemoving edges on expansion joints and sidesInstalling anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concretePolishing surfaces using smoothing materials, abrasive tools, and surfacing machinesAligning forms for sidewalks, curbs, and guttersWaterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfacesCompacting materials using power vibrators to create leveled basesFinishing concrete surfaces with rough or smooth patterns depending on the customer's preferenceSignaling truck drivers and moving chutes to facilitate pouring concrete

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Must possess valid Concrete Finisher Certification from ACIHigh school diploma or General Education Degree is preferred5+ years minimum of related concrete and 10+ construction experience and/or training to include ACI certificationValid US state driver’s licenseWillingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as requiredMust be willing to work 6 days a week according to approved scheduleKnowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in constructionAbility to read, write, and do basic mathematical calculationsAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsAble to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawlAble to work in all weather conditionsCurrent US Passport

Salary Range: $41.68 - $72.93
