The Supervisor is responsible for several stands before, during and at the close of the event. Essential Responsibilities: + Supervises staff during check-ins and breakdowns for the zone that they cover. + Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event including service areas. + Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques and menu offerings. + Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided. + Supervises and completes the open and closing stand paperwork and inventory. + Employs good food safety and sanitation practices and f ollows responsible alcohol service policies. + Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: + Meet the physical requirements of the job such as standing and walking for long periods of time, ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, kneel/crouch, able to actively engage physically with guests and ability to react with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. + The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in foodservice or hospitality, particularly working concessions. + An outgoing personality and ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. + The ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
