Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Concessions Cashiers to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Concessions Cashier, you will provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to guests purchasing food and beverages at our concession stands. 

 

This role is responsible for handling cash and card transactions accurately and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Pay $19.35 - $19.35 / hour

What will you do?Greet guests, communicate offerings, and answer any questions in a friendly manner Record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and maintain accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shift Participate in the set-up of the kiosk, arrange inventory, and notify stand lead of any inventory shortages Maintain a clean appearance of the work area

More about youMust be at least 18 years oldPrevious cashier or customer service experience preferred, especially in food service or event settingsBasic math and cash handling skills requiredAbility to work in a fast paced, high energy environment

Physical requirementsConstant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions Ability to work day games, night games, weekends, and holidays as needed as required for hockey games and eventsAbility to lift stock up to 25 pounds occasionally May be required to work in narrow spaces or variable temperatures depending on the season
