Team and Mission
The Inventory Insights squad provides clients with actionable information that drives productivity improvements in warehouses worldwide. The team leverages Verity's unique capability to deploy visual sensors anytime and anywhere using fully autonomous drone fleets. By transforming 2D and 3D image data into reliable insights, the team delivers a user-focused, automated inventory management solution aimed at achieving zero-error warehousing.
Your Role:
+ Develop and implement computer vision algorithms
+ that use 2D and 3D imagery captured by our drones
+ to generate insights in commercial environments
+ Improve and maintain existing algorithms through performance monitoring, optimization, and data-driven learning
+ Evaluate the feasibility of extracting specific information from visual inputs using first-principle reasoning, rapid experimentation, and practical experience
+ Develop image capture strategies that make efficient use of the unique mobility of aerial sensors
+ Collaborating with our optical system team to select, calibrate, configure, and validate optical systems
+ Contribute to software design, implementation, and deployment across the full system
Your Experience:
+ Experience developing computer vision algorithms for real-world applications with at least 2 years of relevant work in industry or research
+ Strong skills in C++ or Python
+ Solid understanding of software engineering practices, including modular system design, clear code structure and effective testing strategies
+ Degree MSc/PhD in computer science, robotics, or a related field
+ Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Additional plus
+ Background in photogrammetry, structure from motion, or 3D point cloud processing
+ Application of machine learning techniques to visual data
+ Familiarity with camera systems and sensor calibration
+ Experience with libraries such as OpenCV, Eigen, PyTorch or OpenCL, Pandas
+ Exposure to cloud-based workflows, especially using AWS
