Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. _Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking_ **_Computer Systems Analyst/ Principal Computer Systems Analyst._** _This position will be located in_ **_Roy, Utah_** _and will support the Sentinel program._ **What You’ll Get To Do:** Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: • Perform as Windows Systems Administrator for a medium to large sized classified government contract. • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and oral format. • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management. • Support multiple networks; ensure necessary administration tasks are completed. • Work closely with System Engineering and other team members to develop recommended system improvements, upgrades, and solutions. • Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability of systems, including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management. • Administer backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis. • Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists. • Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact. • Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed. • Make recommendations to purchase hardware, software, and system components. • Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with team members, suppliers, customers, and vendors. • Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases. • Maintain security audit and logging information on all networked and standalone computers in a classified environment as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). • Prepare security documentation for input to Computer Security. • Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts. • Work under minimal direction and independently determine and develop approach to solutions. • Provide end of day and end of week task status to management. **Position Benefits:** As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage • 401k • Educational Assistance • Life Insurance • Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions • Paid Time Off • Health & Wellness Resources • Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package for the right candidate who is not local to Roy, Utah._** This role may be hired at a level 2 or level 3 (principal), depending on the years of experience each candidate brings to the process. **Basic Qualifications for Level 2/Computer Systems Analyst** • 2 Years with Bachelor’s in related field of study, 0 Years with Masters, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree. **Basic Qualifications for a Level 3/Principal Computer Systems Analyst** • 5 Years with Bachelor’s in related field of study, 3 Years with Masters, 1 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree. Remaining Basic Qualifications for Both Levels: • Active DoD Secret security clearance with an adjudication or reinvestigation date within the past 5 years. • The ability to be granted special program access (SAP/SAR) within 1 year of hire date. • **The ability to maintain both your security clearance and program access is required for this position.** • Windows Server Administration & Management experience. • Windows Domain administration experience. • Windows Active Directory experience. • Microsoft MECM, SCCM, WSUS, and/or SMS experience. • Current Security + CE (or other DoD 8570 certification), or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date. • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. • Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed. **Preferred Qualifications:** • DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (example: Security+ CE), or have the ability to obtain the required certification within 6 months of start date as a condition of continued employment. Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
