JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial and information technology services and solutions provider, has an opening for a Computer Support Specialist. The Computer Support Specialist will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within Information Systems environment. Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
This position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification.

Compensation for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hour , commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. We notice that we receive a wide variety of applicants and recognize that the person selected may be less experienced or more experienced. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.
Essential functions and responsibilities
+ Maintain and administer Microsoft Desktop environment, including setup, configuration, daily monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis
+ Perform typical system administrative activities such as user account creation, email account creation, telephone provisioning, backup, restore and issue resolution
+ Perform software installation including local desktop installation, server installation, LAN/WAN deployments
+ Assist maintaining software inventory and ensure organization compliance
+ Maintain current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures for Microsoft desktop and software solutions
+ Coordinate the testing and implementation of all changes, repairs and upgrades
+ Provide end user support and troubleshooting

+ Perform other related duties as assigned
Required SkillsRequired Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent experience
+ 2+ years of direct Microsoft solution experience
Preferred Experience
+ Experience with software asset management, service desk incident management, software deployment tools
+ Experience with Microsoft stack of software solutions including Windows operating systems, M365 Office suite of products, Azure, Intune, etc.
+ Experience with Autodesk and Bentley Solutions
+ Experience with Apple Devices
Working Conditions
Workdays will be Monday-Friday. Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
