Position Overview: Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking enthusiastic Computer Science teachers to inspire high school students through engaging lessons in programming, technology, and problem-solving, preparing them for success in a digital world. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and deliver engaging lessons in computer science, programming, and related technologies. + Teach courses such as Introduction to Computer Science, Programming (Python, Java, etc.), Web Development, and AP Computer Science Principles/Java. + Incorporate hands-on projects, problem-solving activities, and real-world applications into instruction. + Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams; provide constructive feedback. + Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners. + Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into the curriculum. + Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and participate in professional development. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree and a valid Tennessee Teaching License + Excellent classroom management and communication skills. + Ability to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in students.
