The Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Qualifications

Education and Training: High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). C.T. Tech certified preferred but training can be provided.

 

Experience:  Will be determined on an individual basis but two(2) years’ experience preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment.Strong interest in scientific and technical skill and knowledge.Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.Able to communicate effectively.Able to perform well independently.Able to follow detailed instructions.Exact and precise.Highly self-motivated.
