The Community Support Associate (CSA) plays a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health or co-occurring diagnoses in building the skills needed to live as independently and successfully as possible within their communities. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, solution focused, and brings a positive, team oriented approach to their work. Working closely with licensed therapists and other care providers, the CSA delivers trauma informed support while helping individuals develop coping, interpersonal, and daily living skills in real world settings. Assist clients in working toward individualized treatment goals that promote independent living and community integration. Teach and m odel daily living skills, coping strategies, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills. Encourage participation in self-help, independent living, and recovery-oriented activities. Support the development of positive and respectful relationships among individuals served and their housemates. Ensure client safety and help maintain a secure, supportive, and therapeutic environment. Assist with scheduling client appointments and coordinating services as part of wrap around care. Work in close collaboration with clients' licensed therapists, supervisors, and other members of the treatment team. Participate in biweekly supervision with designated direct supervisor. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and external stakeholders. Report any concerns, incidents, or client related issues promptly to the State Treatment Director or appropriate leadership. Complete all documentation accurately and within required regulatory and agency guidelines. Submit and monitor prior authorizations to ensure approval and continuation of service units. Follow all agency policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma, a general equivalency diploma (GED), or qualifying documentation from a comparable educational entity 1 year experience working with individuals with a Mental Health Disorder or Co-Occurring Disorder Community Support Associate Certification (or obtain within 6 months from date of hire) Maintain ongoing continuing education requirements Ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization Attention to detail Time management skills Ability to work with remote teams with units in multiple locations Substantial business acumen in fast moving environment Ability to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy Travel 25-75% About our Line of Business StepStone Family and Youth Services, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides the full spectrum of support to c hildren in need of alternative, safer, and more positive living environments with residential and family services.
