Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team, specializing in compounding and order fulfillment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform various pharmacy tasks with precision and efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesFulfill orders as the primary function, involving compounding prescriptions through techniques such as weighing, mixing, grinding, levigating, and encapsulating.Assist with secondary tasks including answering phones, assisting customers, processing prescriptions, restocking supplies, cleaning, and preparing shipping labels.Engage in physical tasks such as lifting containers, standing, walking, bending, and cleaning work areas.Use fingers, hands, wrists, forearms, arms, and shoulders continuously in the compounding process and order fulfillment.Participate in team meetings and collaborate with lab supervisors and pharmacists on special requests.Essential SkillsPharmacy Technician certification or certificate.CPhT certification.Experience with pharmacy software and data entry.Strong customer service skills.1+ year(s) of experience in any pharmacy setting.Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or Certification required.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED.Ability to multi-task effectively.Strong work ethic with motivation to meet performance metrics.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Time management and prioritization skills.Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Reliability and positive attendance record.Team player mentality.Work Environment
Our facility offers a spacious and comfortable environment with excellent employee areas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with every third Saturday required. Benefits include a flexible schedule, health insurance, dental, vision, retirement plans, and a monthly bonus program based on performance. Our pharmacy technicians do not bill insurance, allowing them to focus on compounding and advancing skill sets in various areas. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
