Job Title: Compounder Job Description The Compounder will be responsible for creating batches by following a precise formula and weighing exact amounts of various raw materials. This role involves compounding batches of fragrances, weighing raw materials according to the formula, mixing them, and delivering samples to the QC team for testing. The position requires familiarity with Oracle systems and the ability to operate a forklift. Responsibilities + Compound batches of fragrance by accurately weighing raw materials based on the formula. + Mix batches and deliver samples to the Quality Control team for testing. + Cover and secure batches upon completion. + Collaborate effectively within a small team environment. + Multitask efficiently to meet production goals. Essential Skills + Minimum of 6 months experience in compounding fragrance formulations, ideally 1 year. + Proficiency in batch mixing and handling raw materials. + Ability to operate a forklift. + Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and Oracle systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong attention to detail. + Basic computer skills. + Ability to speak and read English. + Willingness to work overtime when necessary. + Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workplace. + Adherence to defined responsibilities as per ISO 9001 process flows. Work Environment The role is based in an industrial environment where employees may be exposed to mild odors. Appropriate safety equipment such as eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats must be worn in the lab or plant. The facility is modern, high-tech, safe, and clean, reducing risks of accidents, injuries, or health hazards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
